Note that the garden at Iford is on a very steep slope which can make accessibility in many areas of the garden challenging. Wherever possible we have tried to ensure an alternative route with minimal steps, but please note that the historic surfaces of the Grade I listed garden are uneven throughout, with gravel in parts.

For those in wheelchairs we recommend that you call us in advance of your visit (during office hours Monday - Friday) to discuss your needs. We have one disabled parking space towards the top of the garden to help you access the Great Terrace and many of the other areas of the garden, but this will need to be booked in advance.
