Enjoy an informal afternoon concert of early Baroque Italian music from Musicke in the Ayre, entitled “From Ferrara with Love”. This music was inspired by the Ferrara Court's all-female professional ensemble, the Concerto delle Donne, which influenced composers such as Monteverdi and Rossi, and helped pave the way for Barbara Strozzi and Francesca Caccini.

Taking place in the cloister from 2pm - 3pm, garden visitors can enjoy the concert at no extra charge. Please note that there is limited seating and this is an informal concert - visitors can feel free to sit and enjoy the whole concert, or just part of it as suits.
